When looking for a piano teacher (or keyboard teacher), it is worth noting their
experience of the profession. How long have they taught and have they worked
with other musicians, accompanied vocalists etc and possess qualifications in their
field of work.
I have taught for over 30 years and worked in the music business performing and
accompanying over 40 years (started young !)
Having a good rapport with your teacher is very important if progress is to be made
due to working together in close harmony.
Every student learns at a different pace, and patience and understanding of each
individual is needed to advance forward to each goal of their playing and knowledge.
